LIVE Sparks Programming for 2017 WNBA Season

El Segundo, CA – April 27, 2017 – Spectrum SportsNet today announced its broadcast schedule for the 2017 Los Angeles Sparks season. The official TV home of the 2016 WNBA Champion Los Angeles Sparks, Spectrum SportsNet will air 25 games on the network beginning Friday, May 19 when the team hosts the Washington Mystics at 7:30 pm PT.

The network’s studio programming on May 19 will begin with pregame coverage on Access SportsNet: Sparks starting at 7 pm PT. Access SportsNet postgame coverage will follow the final buzzer and include game highlights, analysis from SportsNet’s studio team and interviews with players and coaches following every live broadcast.

Spectrum SportsNet studio coverage will be led by veteran hosts Jaime Maggio and Chris McGee with four-time WNBA Champion and two-time WNBA MVP Cynthia Cooper-Dyke as studio analyst. Kelli Tennant will return as sideline reporter for Sparks home games and will join the Access SportsNet studio team as co-host for road game coverage.

Veteran play-by-play announcer Jim Watson and analyst Mary Murphy will return to call the Sparks action on SportsNet.
